“The people were amazingly helpful and friendly and accommodated our every request. The swimming pool was delightfully refreshing and the breakfast- served by the pool - was just right with croissants fresh from the bakery.”
“Easy walk to town and close to the trailhead up to the Vulcano. Breakfast in the pool area.”
“We spent two weeks travelling around Sicily and the main point about Vulcano Island is that it is expensive! For the price we paid at Hotel Al Togo for a small room, we could stay in a large two bedroom apartment with a pool and kitchen on the east of Sicily. Al Togo staff are friendly and accommodating and the pool was very enjoyable with plenty of space for everyone. The resort is peaceful, clean and beds comfortable, although it is quite basic for the price paid.”
“Hotel Togo could be so much better if the staff treated their customers better and with a smile which doesn't cost anything! The apartment was ok but a bit out dated and the bathroom was dirty and tired in places. Our breakfast was given to us with no frills and no real chance of asking for more of anything.”
“I cant tell nothing great. Only simply and old hotel. Totaly differend feeling from photos on web and from reality.”
“The staff are amazing. Air con was good. Nice to have a pool to jump in after the stinky mud baths”
“The croissants were extremely delicious. The swimming pool was perfect! Just in the middle of a little oasis, enough sun and shade also”
“if you want to climb up the volcano, then this place is really close to the start up. also close to the minimarket shop. about a km away from the port, so you won't feel the smell of sulphur there. (you can smell it right away when you arrive at the port though.) nice pool, and DEEP! ;) breakfast.. typical italian. nice private "balcony" in front of the room. friendly staff.”
“The Staff did there best to present us a breakfast (we were the only guests). Everything was clean.”
“Great and simple place. The quiet area around the swimming pool is a must. The location is ideal within the island.”
