What guests loved the most

“Ambience/physical look and comfort of the building”

, Australia

“The hotel is very picturesque next to the river and just next to the city centre. It's an old stone building with an amazing little patio and very well decorated. It gives you the impression that you're in a museum. The beds were comfortable and the sheets clean. Our room had a Jacuzzi (it was a bit noisy but working well). The staff was helpful and the views from the room great. I'd definitely recommend it, especially for couples.”

, Greece

“Very friendly staff, man at reception carried one of our suitcases up the stairs. Good location and very good value for money. Old, very interesting hotel.”

, New Zealand

“Very nice courtyard in the centre of the hotel. Good view of the river.”

, United Kingdom

, Portugal

“A unique building and wonderful setting with a great deal of history and full of character. Staff helpful. The "original" décor and the paintings are just like being in a film set or museum.”

, United Kingdom

“The hotel is in an excellent position, just outside the walls of the old city, with views over the River Duero. The building is extremely old (12th or 13th century) and is full of character. There is free parking outside the hotel.”

, United Kingdom

“The staff was very good and spoke very good English which I've found to be rare in hotels in Spain. I absolutely loved walking around the courtyard looking at all the old paintings. WiFi was very good.”

, USA

“Brilliant stay . The actual building is very interesting. Staff great what more !”

, United Kingdom

“La ubicación era excelente, junto al rio Duero y a 5 min andando de la zona turística. El edificio tenía mucho encanto, era un pequeño museo.”
