“This is a very nice old chateau, which makes a pleasant hotel in the countryside, away from the bustle of Calais, however only a 15 min drive away on the A16 which is close by. Possible the place shows signs of being a little tired, but they are working on improvements each time we visit. Travelling with dogs is good as they have large grounds to walk them and we always let the dog have free use of the bathroom, (that sounds odd) but I mean the bathroom is almost the same size as the room, so they are not under our feet, as they would be in a pokey little place.”
