“In the centre of a quaint village and plenty of space for dog walking. There is nothing in this area, no shops etc. Plenty of walking. The restaurant was good.”

“The hotel is beautifully located in a very nice town, which is lovely to walk through and directly on the Alsace Wine Route. Rooms are nice and clean. We stayed in 3 different rooms and all of them were perfect. The rooms in the main house under the roof seem to be a bit on the small size. The food in the restaurant is outstanding and the owners and employees are all very friendly. We traveled with our dog and everybody was very accommodating. We were allowed to be in the restaurant with her as well. Just a couple of minutes walk from the hotel, are the vineyards, which allow for beautiful scenery and lovely walks with our dog.”

“In a wonderful medieval town on the square the rooms are housed in two separate buildings and we had to cross the square to reach reception, breakfast and dining rooms. Lots of wood and flowers rather Tyrolean style. Very friendly and efficient staff and excellent food with enormous portions. English spoken. Room was very comfortable and spacious with air conditioning a large mini bar and safe. Good bathroom. The town has no shops but lovely walks round the attractive battlements and also up in the vineyards. Lots of very interesting towns and villages to visit on the wine route with shops and restaurants. Parking was easy either behind the hotel in courtyard or around the square. We hope to return, the owner gave us some room numbers that are on lower floors. The wi fi was erratic in our part of the building.”

“Very comfortable bed, lovely shower and bathroom. Spacious room, very clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room number 6 was at the back of the building and was very quiet. We had our evening meal in the restaurant. Beautiful decor and subtle lighting. Food was well cooked and delicious. Also good service. The town itself was so pretty. All the houses had window boxes and the public areas were beautiful and very well maintained. Just outside the walls of the town, the views of the vineyards, stretching as far as the eye could see, in the early evening sun was stunning. We would definitely want to stay here again.”

“This was the 5th successive year staying here for 2 days on our journey to Greece....staying in several different rooms all superbly furnished with modern bathrooms. This year the air con had been put on so our room was delightfully cool ......ooh and the food all superbly cooked and presented along with best wines you will ever taste.. wow !”
