“Located in a small town Hamoir the property offers 6 rooms of different styles. The hotel is run by a husband and wife, both speak reasonable english and resolve all of your needs. The rooms are of average size but nicely decorated with everything you need. Breakfast is a little simple, no hot food like omelette or bacon, only croissants, tea, ham cheese etc. The breakfast area is superbly decorated with all medieval armory, swords, pistols, even small cannons etc, very beautiful indeed. Good location and value for money when you're on the road trip.”

“We had asked for the chambre 'romantique'. Upon arrival, they told us that this room is close to the road, thus very noisy. They gave us the suite instead, which supposedly is two times bigger and not at all noisy - apart from the occasional freight train passing by. ;) As we were the only guests to stay at the hotel, it was very quiet. We like to have a cup of tea in the evening and as the restaurant was closed and there was nothing in the room, we asked if we could borrow a kettle. They didn't have one but they proposed to make us a thermos with hot water which they put in our room together with two cups and some tea bags. Real service. The bathroom was comfortable and the bath tub was large.”
