“This was a former bishop's residence in the 19th century - it was easy to get lost in the maze of courtyards, gardens and walkways, all designed with old jugs, framed antique photos, assemblages, fun art and statues,and gorgeous flowers throughout. Situated in the center of town near San Francisco church, we had easy access to everything we wanted to see. Our room was very comfortable - made of sillar rock and brick with beautiful antique furniture and a super comfortable large brass bed. The breakfast was lovely and was served in a pretty garden. We were warmly welcomed each time we came in.”
