“This is probably the best place to stay in LaGuardia. Centrally located and convenient to everything in the town. The town is totally walkable. There is a charming wine cave in the basement where you can have tapas and a glass of wine. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The town is historical and charming.”
“Perfectly located to explore the area. Great breakfast and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. On registering at the hotel we were given vouchers for a free drink in the cellar bar.”
“The staff was very helpful and kind. The hotel is quiet, very interesting and comfortable”
“Right in the middle of wonderful Laguardia, on the prettiest square. Our room was extremely well appointed and comfortable. We had an excellent dinner in the dining room and were very well served by staff. Breakfast was very good.”
“One of my best hotel experiences ever. The friendliest service of our trip throughout Spain. The rooms were beautifully appointed and incredibly charming. The location was perfect right in the center of the old walled village of Laguardia. Wonderful food and beverage options. We started with a glass of wine and pintxos (tapas) in the subterranean caves that has been converted into a wine bar. Then a wonderful, elegant sit down dinner in the restaurant, and the included breakfast the next morning was great. The town itself is pretty small--beautiful but you'll see it all in one day. However, it makes a great home base for a multi-day exploration of Rioja. Very strongly recommended.”
“Great location in the walled town of laguardia. Interesting wine cellar with free tasting. Old monastery with tastefully decorated rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. ”
“The hotel's location was great - right in the middle of the town. The people at the desk were very nice and helpful.”
“A beautiful property in a quaint town in the heart of Rioja. We were thrilled with the beauty of the hotel, and the underground wine bar was a really neat space (though it was mysteriously uncrowded). Our room had a four-post bed and was very nicely decorated. The shower was nice, though a bit oddly-placed in the middle of the room almost. I would say that even for the most discerning of travelers, this hotel would meet or exceed expectations. The staff spoke English and the complimentary breakfast was very good. Also, regarding parking, I think they have their own spaces/garage, but parking outside the town walls is free, and we didn't have a hard time finding a space outside the walls and close to the hotel, so no need to pay for a hotel space really.”
“A beautiful location in the middle of the village of Laguardia. The staff, rooms and location were excellent. Highly recommended.”
“booked on spec. great location even though you cannot bring the car to the hotel front door. great meal sitting right on the main square and the bedroom was large and airy. no bath but a large shower area.”
