“While there aren’t many Inn’s in Taft, the Holland house was rated highly (for Taft) and we were not disappointed. The Inn itself was clean, secure and easily accessible from the main highway. The best aspect of the Holland House was Peter the manager. He was truly interested in providing us with any help or advice we needed. Great guy! If you stay here, you’ve got to meet Peter, his wife and son. He’s an interesting example of the diversity you can find only in California.”

“The breakfast at the nearby restaurant recommended by the motel staff was a very pleasant surprise. I had one of the morning specials, which turned out to be the bargain of the year. I'm more or less vegetarian and in no way expected to find the best spinach & mushroom omelet I can remember having in "downtown" Taft. The homestyle chunky potatoes were almost a meal in themselves. Very friendly service and reasonably good coffee for a place like this.”
“The staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. It's an older hotel that has been completely refurbished, so it has a charm you don't find in "cookie cutter" hotels. The room was huge. A number of restaurants nearby.”
