“The staff began cleaning our room before checkout time and before wewere entirely moved out. We intended to come back and prepare salad inthe room before leaving for family reunion. Staff threw out the fruitand put the salad bowl in the lost and found. So far, so bad. When weapproached the desk, the desk staff was sympathetic but said that we didnot understand how much stuff people left behind yada,yada,yada. Ourquestion was, Why would we come back ourselves or why would we recommendthis facility to our friends. We had paid for the room till 11:00 am andby 9:30 or so our stuff was gone. The desk manager then decided shewould comp the entire room charge even though it might get her introuble. I give her highest marks for doing that and will stay thereagain and recommend it to friends. Life is not about never makingmistakes, life is about acknowledging mistakes and correcting them withgrace and courtesy. I hope this review makes it back to her and hersupervisor.”

The facility inside (including lobby, restaurant/bar, pool/game area and rooms) were very clean and updated. *There was plenty for the kids to do: Swimming pool (pool temp was perfect), hot tub, floor shuffle board, pingpong table, air hockey $, Pool table $, large arcade area $. *The bar and restaurant was nice for the adults and the workout room was satisfactory. *Breakfast buffet was well organized, food was good and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. *Rooms are being updated and are very comfortable. They include a small microwave and fridge. Very handy for hungry teenagers. *There was also plenty of room outside to walk my dog.”
