“This hotel is fairly new. It is at the edge of Salado but we're talking 10 minutes to the main area of town. This is a great place to stay overnight and I have been staying in Salado for over 60 years. The most exciting thing to me is "The Stagecoach Inn" that at one time was one of the best roadside restaurants in the US, will be remodeled and opening again soon. Their motel will be remodeled after the restaurant opens. This is a small town with the most unusual and fun shopping you can ever imagine. It is a little Fredericksburg and that needs to be on your list of travels when you come to Texas. Really neat shopping for beautiful things. The breakfast in the hotel was very good and everything was very clean. Great experience.”
