“The bedding was really comfy. Breakfast good with lots of choice. Great location.”
“This is a very convenient hotel, particularly for parents of students at Glasgow University or if you are in Glasgow for business. Byres Road has many good restaurants and you can visit the Kelvingrove Museum and Botanical gardens nearby. Rooms are very high quality, clean and comfortable with coffee/tea making facilities. Staff are very helpful. A taxi or subway ride to the center of the city takes 10 minutes.”
“Comfortable bed and very helpful staff in the restaurant”
“Breakfast was really good, but could have been hotter”
“Lovely hotel, great staff good location for bars and restaurants. Lovely gin bar in hotel”
“This hotel was amazing! My first time in Scotland and it was really nice. The room was much larger and nicer than I expected and, after traveling internationally, was very nice. The room service, breakfast and food etc. were exceptional, much better than I thought. It was also conveniently located on a very walkable street with lots of shops and restaurants as well as the botanical gardens across the street. Really nice staff! They made me feel welcome, which again after traveling and being a woman on her own is much appreciated. They even let me store my leftovers in a fridge to keep cold. Next time I'm back in Glasgow I'll definitely stay there and this time try their tea service!”
“The personnel was extremely friendly and helpful. The location is close to the Glasgow University.”
“Bedroom very nice and spotless. Staff very friendly especially the dining room staff.”
“The location is excellent for the University, Kelvingrove Art Gallery and a selection of great bars and restaurants. Less than a 5 min walk to the subway and quick access to the city centre. Parking is very close and easy to access. Decor is a little dated but everything very clean and comfortable.”
“I love the West End location, across the street from the botanic garden and music & food venue Oran Mor, plus at the intersection of lively and busy shopping streets, close to public transit and an easy walk to the University of Glasgow and the magnificent Kelvingrove art museum and park.”
