“Overall a pleasure to stay here, yes it looks like a 50's Hotel, but that is part of its charm. Only issue and it wasn't a big 1 was a few electral plugs and a switch or 2 didn't work. The veiw was great, and the Drive to the top was FUN! Close to downtown, the river, and the falls. Awesome views of Downtown and the River”

“The Hillside Inn is set high above the town of Madison and the large balcony rooms offer sweeping views of the Ohio River and nearby bridge. Sunset views from our balcony, with a glass of wine, were special. Our room was fairly large, clean, and nicely furnished. The beds were very comfortable. The room had a nice sized flat panel TV and the free WiFi was fast enough for us. The staff was helpful & friendly and gave us dining tips, provided us maps of Madison, and pointed out nearby places to visit. There are several restaurants and dining spots in Madison to drive or walk to. There were plenty of free street parking places or parking areas in town as well. Walking around Madison's waterfront park & crossing the newly renovated bridge on it's footpath were enjoyable ways to pass the day. Our breakfast was more then adequate and the seating area offered views of the town & Ohio River as well.”
