“The view from the hotel windows onto the Hikone Castle is breathtaking so do book a room with a view. The onsen spa is lovely and also has the castle view.”

“10 min walk from the JR station, located right in front of the Hikone castle, a great view from the window of the moat and Sakura trees on top of the first rampart. 10 min walk to The main street of old town. The hotel is, as her name mentions, a resort rather than a simple hotel. A modern Japanese bath is open with a lounge with beers and beverages for free. We booked the half board menu which were really great Japanese traditional food with elegant decorations.”

“Just 10mins from Hikone Castle ! Great location and great staffs, they were very kind and helpful. I could know about the area a lot.Breakfast is also good, you can enjoy some local vegetable and "nechappu" （╹◡╹）♡ also, you can enjoy great view during breakfast.Room was comfortable and good for both business and leisure use.I would like to stay in this hotel again! “Excellent service with a great location, food, and amenities. The hot springs were small but had a wonderful view of the castle and they offer you a free drink afterwards in the lounge with a view of the castle (lit up at night). I was handed coupons for the town as soon as I arrived and allowed to store my luggage while I biked around the castle after having an amazing lunch of local specialties in their restaurant. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom quite large for a Japanese hotel even if the single room itself was on the smaller side. Cheaper rooms don't have a view of the castle but there are ample chairs set up on balconies and in the lounge where you can stare at the castle as much as you like.”

“細かな所までゲストのことを考えたサービスを随所に感じて、本当に心地よい滞在でした。ビールを含むお風呂上がりの無料ドリンク、お風呂場に浮かぶ檜のミニテーブル、すぐに使える館内スタンプカード等素敵なサービスでした。日本庭園を見ながらのテラスでの朝食も気持ちよく、食事もとても美味しかったです、竹生島にも行きましたが彦根港まで無料送迎してくださいました。ロケーションも抜群で彦根城がバッチリ見えます。”
