“We stayed in the "Katla" apartment and found it very comfortable. The main bed was the most comfortable we encountered in all of Iceland! The apartment had a modern kitchen and bathroom. My kids absolutely loved the swimming pools and hot tubs. I was grateful for the laundry room and the nearby wonderful bakery, Almar.”
“We liked the location within Hveragerdi. It was within walking distance of trails, restaurants, and the bus transportation pickup point. The place had all that we needed, including a kitchen and dining table. Free bikes were an added perk.”
“The Hot Spring River just very close to this place was really amazing experience. The location was pretty nice overall when driving day-trips to northern and eastern directions. Very quiet and comfortable place to stay, apartment was just recently renovated and very clean and nice with plenty of kitchen equipment.”

“Very niceley decorated in a modern style, convenient parking. The bathroom was extremely spacious with an excellent shower, and the apartment had a wonderful view of the mountains. In a nice quiet location but good access to the scenic sites in the south via car, e.g. golden circle. The pool facilities we saw looked very nice, unfortunately we had no time to try them out.”
“it was good to have the facility to self cater and restaurants are very expensive. this apartment is also very close to the supermarket so very convenient. we liked the fact that we had towels, bath robes, cleaning equipment for the kitchen including tea towel. staff were friendly and helpful. we made friends with a local kitten (cleopatra) who was adorable. we could have made use of the pool but we didn't. we liked the shower in the bathroom.”
