“The staff were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. I arrived late in the evening and was offered tea and biscuits and then asked if I would like a pint of water to take to the room. I was leaving early the next morning (7am) and there was no problem getting breakfast, I even got eggs although it was before the kitchen was officially open. It was a frosty morning and the porter had a bottle of warm water ready for me to put on the car when I was finished breakfast - you couldn't ask for nicer or more helpful treatment. My room was huge and very comfortable.”
