“The property was well located but a little further from the train station than stated,(about 1km) so a long hot walk.. Buses were within 200m walk. Sufficient eateries nearby. This is the Chinese area rather than the foreign area. In fact, I didn't see another tourist during the 3 days I was there. Nanning is not a major tourist destination. People were helpful, (although no one spoke English), I felt safe and there was a variety of food, including a fantastic steak meal for $5 near a major shopping area. Public transport is abundant and extremely cheap. My room had pay TV, it was big enough, ac worked, showers were excellent and it was clean and comfortable.”
