“I mostly don't like hotels, except the odd 4-5* star which we generally don't spring for. This one though, for its amenities level, has hit a certain sweet spot. The most important thing for me is the bed. If it's bone crushing or a hammock I'll never stay again. I hate nasty cheap linens. I always bring my own pillow. Here I managed to sleep without feeling positively bruised in the morning and the sheets were comfortably soft. The room was spacious and perfectly clean with a sofa to sit on and a TV screen large enough for these older eyes. In the lobby I could make myself a hot tea in the wee hours of the morning and sit outside on a bench while my husband slept. Staff were very pleasant and accommodating. If in the area I would definitely stay again.”
