“I was very impressed with this hotel from the moment I arrived. There was plenty of parking right outside the reception. The reception staff were friendly and very efficient and then when I opened the door to my room I was even more impressed. It was more like suite with a small lounge area and a balcony at one end, a super king sized bed and a very large bathroom shower room. Free WiFi was included and was fast enough to stream movies etc. All the facilities youvwoild want were there including a small fridge iron and ironing board and even a trouser press. The spa and pool were also excellent . All this for a shade over £70 including breakfast. ”

“Rooms spacious and comfortable although probably needs updating..plenty of cupboards and draws. Mentioned the toilet wasn’t flushing properly and it was sorted out before we came back to the room. Very good service...Particularly the chap that helped on reception, I think his name was Kevin?”

“It was really well located for access to a variety of attractions in the area. I just wanted to say also that the waitress at breakfast was Just a delight. Her name was Theresa and she was charming, attentive and efficient. Made my necessary veey early breakfast much more enjoyable. ”

“All of the staff were very friendly, The Wi-Fi was free and good enough to use for facetime with the family back at home. We were here for a celebration meal in one of the function rooms and the food was good quality and service excellent. Breakfast was also of a high standard with plenty of hot/cold items to choose from. Our room was a good size and also had robes/slippers and an ironing board/iron as standard. I would definitely stay here again next time I need to stay over in Derby.”
