“We liked breakfast service on the first morning - good waitress and food. The Sunday morning experience was the opposite with slow service and two cups of lukewarm coffee. We told the waitress about the first cup of lukewarm coffee and she managed to bring us another cold one. We were chased Saturday afternoon to say we had only booked one night when we had paid for two when we arrived Friday evening. The call from the hotel was handled badly leaving us wondering whether we had a room that night. When we checked out Sunday morning we were given a wrong receipt in another guest's name ( only discovered when we got home) The hotel could be good but they definitely need to up their breakfast service on a Sunday and sought out their administration. I wondered whether the General manager was away!”

“A comfortable quirky place full of character, with an excellent team across the board. The staff were genuinely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was outstanding. The room was a little small, and there was obviously some traffic noise; it is London, but not a major issue. I suspect foreign tourists would love the Half Moon and its surroundings.”
