“The hotel looks a bit old on the frontside, but has wonderful views of the surrounding woods and the mountains on the backside, from the terrace of your room. The swimming pool was simply wonderful, large enough to really swim in and cold enough to be refreshing during summer. The private terrace was very nice, you feel at home quite soon.”
“The staff are wonderful and very welcoming! Bianca warmly greeted us when we arrived after driving from Calvi, and since it was our honeymoon, she made sure we had a beautiful room and view. Bianca and the hotel owner surprised me/us with such a thoughtful gift!! They gave us a really nice Corsica keychain (a great idea and memento to remember our travels) and a pretty Corsica change purse from the owner's store, which I used for the rest of the trip! The location of the hotel is perfect, just a short walk down the road to the marina and main restaurants (less than 10 minutes). We booked a boat tour from the marina in advance (Corse Adrenaline, which was fantastic). The room is spacious and we had a beautiful view from our balcony of the mountains (Les Calanache), with the hotel pool and garden in front of them. Just stunning! Definitely worth staying when you're in Porta Ota.”
