“The location is great - the chemin des fleur (walking path along Lake Geneva) is right outside your doorstep. You are probably about a 15 minute walk to Chateau Chillon and 10-15 minutes from restaurants (in the other direction). It is also about a 10 minute walk to the Ferry stop. The hotel was nice - you can tell that back in its day it was quite grand. It's still nice, just not the magnificent place it once was. The staff was friendly and the food was good. We had breakfast at the hotel every day and enjoyed it; we also did room service one night and both liked our meals. The room was nice - balcony overlooking Lake Geneva. Hotel was very quiet - we could sleep with our windows open and listen to the water. The room was SUPER clean; the cleaning service folks did a great job. Overall we had an enjoyable stay here and would recommend it.”
“A tired old hotel, probably a jewel in its prime, badly lost in a time lock in the 1970's and in desperate need of a complete renovation. Dirty rugs, flaking paint, doors that don't lock, decor lost in time (for those who don't already know, we are in 2017, not pre-1975).”
