“Lovely style of hotel dating from the 1920's, modernized but with the same feel especially on the ground floor. Great location and the hotel has an 8 car garage facility just a short distance away which meant secure parking for our motorcycles.”

“One of the staff spoke good English, yay! Staff is polite. The hotel is clean, heating worked well. Location is great, it's on a small hill in a picturesque little town La Bourboule, just 10mins' drive from a slightly larger town (Le Mont Dore), and about 30mins from Chastreix/Puy de Sancy where you can ski and do other snow activities. Walking distance to a few restaurants and local shops. There's a row of ski equipment rental/sale shops in Le Mont Dore. We chose the "express breakfast" option one morning, which was a decent croissant and coffee, nutella, butter, jam, and juice options. Free wifi but was slow/not working at times. Regret that we didn't check out the indoor heated swimming pool!”
