“A fantastic location right in the centre of Avignon. We booked the small double ( and it was small ) but fine for our one night stay. If you are not fit be careful, when booking we were told our small double was on the second floor it was up four flights of stairs.”
“Very central, in a very pretty very old house. The young student-guy staff was quite excellent and supplied us with the very best information about go-tos in Avignon.”
“The hotel is located right in the center of old town of Avignon just 5 minutes walk to Pope's Palace. However, the entrance is on the very narrow side street, so it's a nightmare to drive there. Also ventilation of nearby restaurants exit exactly to this street, so you hear it's noise all the time.”
“The room was individually decorated. It felt like staying in a castle.”
“Small but elegant room with view to small street in an atmospheric old building. Veronica at desk was very friendly and helpful. Excellent location half-block to center of old town and numerous restaurants.”
“Location was perfect for cafes and culture. The thick stone walls provided character to this seventeenth century building. Bathrooms and showers were excellent although a railing and non slip mat in the bath would have been helpful.”
“super nice staff, lovely building in the city centre”
“It's pretty close to everything, and the woman at the front desk is friendly and helpful.”
“The hotel is a renovated period building, so of course there are many stairs with no lift. It is a beautiful building, well located and the rooms have lovely high ceilings. The location was ideal for us, a short walk from the train station and very close to many of the key things to see . Avignon is such a beautiful, pretty town you have to see it and have a few days to explore its surroundings!”
“Great location for the centre of town. A little basic perhaps but clean and comfy.”
