“We choose to stay here for to be able to take advantage with a horse ride the next morning . The horse rides were fully booked ( my fault as well for not reserving faster ) We were hoping the grounds would accommodate some walking trails and be closer to Heveagerdi . Without the opportunity to ride we would have preferred being in Hveragerdi and the walks , town ( although we drove there ) . Dinner was offered ( for a price ) but very limited .”

“this place was amazing! even if you are not interested in riding, it was one of the best hotels we stayed in on our tour of Iceland. the room was very spacious, especially the bathroom, the bedding great, especially the wool blanket. very clean, very big and very welcoming....what's not to like? it had many common areas to sit in and chat, watch the horses, relax, etc. the breakfast was very good...traditional Icelandic...just an overall great stay. I highly recommend it.”

“The hotel was very close to the popular attractions & made a great stop for us between our arrival, our tour around the ring road, & our continued trip to the southern areas of Iceland. The icelandic horses were on property and visible in all the decor which was charming. The dinner offerings were very welcoming both nights that we chose to dine there.”
