“Located on Shamian Island hence pretty quiet. But still within walking distance (10min) of a metro station. The food at the attached V-House restaurant is very good. Also for a late night desert upon return to the hotel. Staff is very helpful providing maps and calling taxis if needed.”
“Really enjoyed the location and European-feel on Shamian Island. Gorgeous Starbucks around the corner, Subway next door, mall and river a short walk away. We had a spacious room with a balcony that had a breakfast table and chairs outside. Breakfast in the morning had a good variety of Asian and Western cuisines - the family liked the espresso machine and noodle soup station. Staff was very accommodating.”

Guangzhou overall is an understated tourist destination - there is so much more to explore than I'd expected. It offers up some truly beautiful sights and experiences. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return.”
