- Air Conditioning Upgrade Notice (Phase 2 of 4): From 3 January, 2017 until 29 December, 2017 the hotel will be upgrading the air conditioning units throughout various floors (maximum 10 rooms out of order at any given time).<br>With this major project you should anticipate:<br>- Varied noise levels between 9:00 - 18.00 daily.<br>- Some noise levels may be loud or repetitive at times.<br>- Work crews do not work on Sundays unless they experience weather delays.<br>- There may be limited access to the buildings and courtyard at various times. Please ensure the name on the card must match the details on the booking and your photo identification.<br>Should payment be made by a third party, the hotel will require an authorisation form to be completed.<br>Failure to provide this authorization form will result in the booking being cancelled.<br><br>Please note there is a 0.5% charge when you pay with a Visa, UnionPay or Mastercard credit card and a 1.5% charge when you pay with an American Express, JCB credit card or Diners Club credit card.<br><br>Please note that guests are required to present a valid photo ID and either a AUD 50 cash deposit or a pre-authorisation of a credit card for any damages or incidental charges.<br><br>Please note that this hotel has a strict "No Party Policy". “Management were able to give us access to our room very early which gave us a full day to enjoy a walk along the Goods Line to Darling Harbour, the Maritime Museum and Chinese Garden. We loved the whole art deco theme and the location so close to Central Station. Great bistro although we ate at the YHA restaurant up the road. Room was large with a king size bed and everything was immaculate. Original art deco features have been retained, including the wonderful 'Smoker's Room' door!”
