“The room showed a few signs of wear and tear but it was clean, warm, comfortable and quiet. The staff were really friendly and helpful and seemed to do everything from reception to waiting on tables. Breakfast was excellent, loads of choice. It was a quirky place with hanging/flying books up the stairway and huge thrones in the dining/bar area , it is aiming to attract the wedding market and that was very obvious with trailing flowers/ivy and fairy lights everywhere. They were setting up for a wedding when we left and it did look very pretty. We would definitely stay again.”

“This is a lovely hotel; the decor is quirky and original. The room was a good size as was the bathroom. We took an elderly family member and the room provided was just perfect for an older, less mobile person. The dining room is very pleasant and the bar area is really nice too but what sets Gray Manor apart from similar hotels is the staff. Every member of staff we had contact with was friendly, approachable and extremely helpful. We felt very well looked after and will definitely return.”
