“This is a beautiful hotel which is ideally situated in Battery Point. We walked down to Salamanca Place and the piers with great ease. John and Annette were the perfect hosts. They were discreet yet available when required. On arrival we were greeted with freshly baked brownies. the following day, when we arrived back late afternoon John delivered piping hot muffins to our room. The next day, more lovely muffins. We were two couples, each with a superb room, beautifully decorated, overlooking the Derwent. Ensuite and kitchen facilities were terrific. There was ample room to relax with table and chairs near the window. The area is very quiet so there was no noise at night. Beds were very comfortable, the only little suggestion we could offer is that the pillows could be improved. All four of us agreed that this was a lovely place to stay and we would stay there again without hesitation.”

“Gorgeous boutique hotel located in the most beautiful suburb in Hobart. The area is just stunning with heritage homes and picturesque gardens. Perfect cafes and restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Walk to Salamanca or town centre is just a 10 minute stroll. The room was beautiful with stunning views of the harbour. This is the perfect place to stay in Hobart. We did not want to leave. John the host was so helpful whilst not being intrusive at all. I highly recommend this hotel, it is perfect.”
