“The Grand Tasman Hotel was great for a short business trip. Facilities were clean and tidy, a little dated. It's located fairly close to shops, has reasonable internet and was fairly quiet the 3 nights I stayed. However, there was a note form management next to a set of free earplugs saying it does get noisy over the weekends (it's a pub what else would one expect). The off street parking is also quite good Staff a really welcoming and friendly, offering advice of places to visit and shop, and nothing appeared to hard for them to do. The meals are also very well presented and quite tasty. Breakfast was a continental breakfast offered as part of the cost of the room. The view form the balcony is absolutely fantastic sunrise especially.”
