“Friendly staff, great location, old building but comfy.”
“It's a quaint old building with plenty of charm. It was spotless and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The public area was comfortable and led to a very pleasant conversation with visitors from England.”
“Nothing except the location which is close to Grand Canyon.”
“One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Great location in the center of historical city center. Very close to bars and restaurants and also train to Grand Canyon. Owners were very helpful.”
“The location in town, it's proximity to the Grand Canyon, the history of the hotel building, free wifi, relatively reasonable price for the market, and the ease with which reservations could be made on Booking.com. Plenty of guidance about the town, with menus, directions, suggestions offered kindly by the desk attendant and owner. The fact that alot of foreign tourists come to this hotel keeps it busy and festive.”
“Grand Canyon hotel is a slice of history for anyone visiting the area. Different to the standard motel experience each room is very individually put together. I have never before been invited to wander around the rooms and choose the one I wanted to stay in, a nice touch for those travellers that arrive early. The rooms are compact so if you have a lot of luggage choose with your head not your heart! Great welcome from the owners, good communal areas and fridges, great location surrounded by restaurants, bars and shops, so no driving required once you have arrived.”
“We stayed in the king suite. Loved the jacuzzi, gas fire and rocking chair”
“Good position in a very good little city. The staff was very kind and the room was clean.”
“Amazing place! Very cozy and nice. Coffe in the morning, fridge. Great personnel. And we could choose a room. Very nice design”
“Everything it was exactly as described on booking.com. Our host Oscar was a very welcoming friendly and informative man. Nothing appeared to be too much trouble for him. We really enjoyed our 2 nights in the giraffe room and we're very sad to leave the Grand Canyon hotel and Williams. We would definitely stay here again if staying in America. The history of the hotel is fantastic and you really feel as though you are living in the 19th century but having all the amenities needed for a modern stay. We stayed in many various chain and family owned hotels and motels while travelling route 66 which were lovely, however this hotel was our favourite for a great feeling of nostalgia and living part of history and the wild west and would not have missed it for the would. It is truly a place not to be missed for anyone wanting to live a bit of history.”
