“A warm welcome at reception, a cosy room with very comfortable bed, lovely lounge area with friendly bar man, real log fires, two pianos and lots of sofas to relax upon. Excellent spa with really heated swimming pool so you could swim outside on a cold, damp October afternoon, warm up in the sauna with a view or the excellent steam room - very relaxing massage too. Excellent breakfast and dinners. Views would have been good if the weather had been kinder - walking distance to centre of town and to a nice little park to wander around.”
