“We were just passing through Cappadocia when we decided to stay the night. The sandstone pillars which were formed by natural erosion have been turned into houses are amazing. The town is set up for tourists and the people are all really friendly. We went to the Goreme City Hotel on a recommendation of someone we met in the town. It turned out to be an excellent decision. The rooms are clean and spacious and the people are really friendly. The rooftop restaurant is amazing. The view from the terrace on the roof of the hotel is stunning. It is great to be sipping on a drink while watching the last rays of the sun shine on the amazing natural sculptures in the landscape. The view of the natural pillars is just as stunning after dark.”
