“Buffet breakfast was piping hot, dinner was delicious, filling and very welcome after a days hiking. My room was very functional and spotless. The building was probably more like a hostel than hotel but it certainly had everything you'd need for outdoor pursuits. The layout of the building allowed for plenty of rooms while still feeling spread out. Could hardly have a better location for hiking Scafell Pike as its a mile from Seathwaite farm. All in all, a perfect venue for exploring the local area. Peaceful, picturesque and quiet”
