“I've been to Japan for 4 times and this is definitely one of the best hotel experience I've ever had. Nice view, great hotel, amazing food, marvelous osen (hot spring), and what's more important, the tremendous staff and service. Although the location of the hotel is a little remote from the downtown (10 min drive), but they offer free shuttle bus to/from the JR station, which is convenient enough for most of the tourists. And compared to the experience it can offer, it definitely worth the trade. Recommend Ginka 10/10. Would definitely visit again.”
“After staying in a number of ryokans in Japan on our trip, this is was our favorite (that's even in comparison to an arashiyama ryokan at 700/ night). Sure it's a bit far away from the town but Ginka picked us up from the train stop and we didn't need to go to town at all. The view from our toom was simply priceless. Each room was very spacious like a mini apartment. Stay in a room with riverview if you can! The food was also incredible. Having visited two of the most popular onsens in town, Ginka's onsen ends up my favorite. There isn't wifi in guestroom, but we just spent the whole afternoon staying in room staring at the river or reading a book. We also stargazed at night. I highly recommend this hotel to couples for honeymoon. We truly loved our stay! Thank you for all the courteous staffs too!”
