“This beautiful Gasthof has spectacular views over the valley and surrounding mountains - well worth the 10-12 minute drive up the winding road from the town centre. Our room on the 2nd floor (yes, there is a lift) had a small kitchenette, an extremely comfortable bed and wardrobes for our clothes, a breakfast nook, a small fridge to store beers, balconies on both sides with astonishing views, a very workable bathroom. There is a small carpark for about six vehicles directly abutting the Gasthof. The restaurant had limited menu choices, but something to suit just about everybody. Breakfast (same room) was wonderful, with typical European fare and pots of hot coffee. Great family running the operation, always very helpful.”

The Brixen Pass which the hotel gives you for free is a tremendous asset - free trains, busses, free museum entry across the region, and free cable car rides at four locations. It saved us over 50 euros in a single day. The family that owns the hotel was very kind and helpful.”
