“there is nothing not to like- this just isn't the place for younger(ish)/non couples. they are very accommodating and breakfast is lovely and basically made to order. it's a very cute place, older but they've done a nice job keeping things up and as comfortable as possible. it is a very very quiet town that shuts down very early. Gengenbach is cute and we had some good wine but knowing what i know now- we just would have stopped in for the day and kept moving. this is of course nothing to do with the Gasthof Hirsch -which is very charming, just a review in general of the area.”
