“Hotel is near the beach, room is clear with hot water, nice balcony and nice view, is a quiet place with very nice host, Ashen is very kind big boy, take us to beach bar for happy hour with his Tutu, and the most important is, he knows how to care for and protect his guests. He is realy a nice man.”
“Very nice hotel not far from the beach. Good breakfast. Room had good AC and wifi, nice bed and bathroom. But most and for all the owner is such a nice person. He helped us wherever he could, he showed us the best beaches and the fishing harbour and helped us to get the bus in the morning. Truly remarkable. ”

“Such a nice and friendly host! He tried everything to make our stay as pleasant as possbile! The Lodge is new, therefore the room was clean and tidy. We booked the family room, so we had really much space! The bed was large and really comfortable, the bathroom met our western ideas of a bathroom - working toilet and warm/hot shower with shower curtain. There was also an electric kettle with tea of coffee. Western Breakfast was really good. All in all it was a perfect stay at GG's Lodge!”

The breakfast is delicious, the location is great (4 minute walk to the beautiful beach), the room is fab, the bed is so comfortable,the shower is lovely, and most of all the host is above and beyond helpful! He helped us booking taxis and tuk tuks for our onward journey to Yala, Ella, Kandy and Sigiriya. The prices he got us were way below any other quotes we got - all local prices. We were so impressed with the hotel and the service provided. We would highly recommend. Thanks so much for all your help. Our trip would not have been the same without your help!”
