“We really liked the location with views off the balconies. When I travel for business, it is mostly about convenience and location. However, for personal travel, I always look for hotels with character and that reflect the local culture. The Francisco Grande offered a lot of character with the old southwest hacienda feel. We were on our way to California with my mother to attend a memorial service for my uncle who had passed away. The Francisco Grande is maybe half a mile from the old farm/ranch where my mother grew up in the 1940s and 1950. Sadly, the old ranch house is gone.”
“Casa Grande is a fairly unassuming place...then you drive to the Francisco Grande Hotel and see it's tower and wonder also what to expect. But once in your room, the views over the golf course and outwards to the vast landscapes are breathtaking from the balcony. Bed was huge and very comfortable and the suite itself was superb. Bathroom luxurious and the sitting area huge. Pool area well kept and really quiet too.”
