“Historically interesting place to stay, in a former Napoleonic Fort. All bedrooms are former barracks and face inwards to a courtyard, with the restaurant in a building in the middle. On my 14 day road trip I stayed in a different hotel each night. I would stay at most of them again but this is the only one that I would go out of my way for!”

“I liked that the staff were always very helpful but not intrusive. There were always plenty of sunbeds available in the garden and towels were easily accessed without the bother of having to sign for them. The level of food was excellent - both at breakfast and dinner.”
