Facilities are basic, but certainly comfortable enough for one to sleep well and enjoy the Finca Altamira. The owner formerly raised coffee on the finca and has saved some from his last crop to give his guests a special morning treat. The establishment sits on top of a hill, just outside the town of Jerico, in the lovely green mountains south of Medellin.”

“Flavio, the owner, was extremely helpful in planning sight seeing trips. He can arrange horse riding. Very informative individual. Natural pools within walking distance. Safe area. Excellent breakfast. Organic coffee grown in the finca. You wake up to the sound of the rooster. This rooster is not from the finca. This rooster showed up the same day we arrived so I do not know if he still at the finca. I understand that he belongs to the neighbor. There are two four legged animals also. One of them is super friendly. Very well behaved dogs. Fairly close to town. We had a vehicle. The finca has a vehicle which Flavio uses to transport guests to and from town. I do not know if this carries a fee. Please keep in mind that this is a finca. You come here to rest and to enjoy nature at its best. This is not a luxury hotel. You are in paradise. You are away from it all!!!.”
