“My favorite things about staying here were the pool and the hot tub. Waking up in the morning of a cold, rainy day and going for a swim in a warm pool is a wonderful experience. The breakfast here was quite good and there was a fairly large selection of items (eggs, bacon, fruit, yoghurt, cereal and a variety of tasty pastries.) The rooms are nicely decorated and clean, without feeling sterile. The staff was friendly and there was ample parking. The hotel is very close to downtown Great Battington, where there are a number of great restaurants and shops. It's easy to spend a day hopping from one cute store to the next. Also an excellent spot if you're into antiquing.”

“From check-in to check out, the staff members were very friendly, they greeted us every time we walked through the reception. They were also accommodating that I forgot all of my toiletries, and provided me extras of what was needed. I loved that I got to enjoy the indoor pool the first night I got in. It was clean and warm enough that I wasn't shivering. There's also a game room that I didn't get to play but it was an awesome feature to have on the property if you're traveling with kids. I also liked a that our room was very clean. The location of the hotel was great! Tucked behind a motel off of the Main Street, but still close to many restaurants and convenience stores (price chopper, marshalls, dollar tree, etc.) and there were beautiful views around the areas.”
