What guests loved the most

“Nice place to stay. Close to the Train Station if you are doing the Santa excursion and good breakfast in the morning. Easy access to the interstate as well. Our matress was actually very comfortable.”

“I have stayed here before and that is one of the reasons I stayed again. Fairfields are usually consistent in quality and service, and this one is no exception, but this one happens to be right next to the Great Allegheny Passage making for the easiest access to a bike trail from a hotel I have ever experienced. So what's not to like? Nothing that comes to mind. The rooms are spacious enough for two people, two bicycles, and luggage; the beds are comfortable, the breakfast is really good with a nice variety of foods from which to choose, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Something else I like is that restaurants, such as City Lights American Grill and Baltimore Street Grill, are within walking distance as is Queen City Creamery if one is looking for some really delicious ice cream for dessert. In short, it's a great hotel in a great location and I will most certainly stay here again.”

“This hotel is very easily accessed from both the Great Allegheny Passage bike trail & the C & O Canal bike trail. The staff is great about letting cyclists clean their bikes & store them in any of a number of places. The breakfast is good & there are plenty of great restaurants & a bike shop nearby.”

“The location had a few U-turns to figure out when you are in a vehicle, but it is right on the C&O footpath and bike trail. The bike trail is the one from D.C. To Pittsburgh and is very popular. I recommend booking early in summer/early fall. There was a mini fridge and microwave in the unit. They have a small amount of food choices in the little "store" near the front desk. It is walking distance to some downtown restaurants and bars. We went to Crabby Pig for some really good seafood and to the Curtis Famous Weiners (since 1918), and had hot dogs one day. We had drinks when we walked to Uncle Jack's Bar. Breakfast is free every morning and the always have a fruit infused water out for refreshment at the front desk. The staff was friendly at the front desk, breakfast and housekeeping. I would and probably will stay here again!”

“A cyclist friend! Right off the end of the C&O. Has place to wash bikes! Has place to lock up bikes! Can bring bikes into room! Has a hot tub with jets! Great breakfast included in price. You've written a portion of the GAP or C&O - pamper yourself here”

, USA

“Staff was very helpful when we had to return on bikes totally drenched and covered in mud.”
