“The rooms are very spacious and well - appointed. Everything is quality - nothing cheap and nasty. The breakfasts are stunning - massive variety and so many things I have never seen on a buffet before. Everything of the highest quality - like the marmalade - real big chunks of real oranges. All the rooms are classy, walls dripping with original art works of a high standard, quality furnishings in the dining room, as if everything had been lovingly bought for its own instrinsic beauty. Exquisite. Great location for Taksim area of shops and bars and restaurants, also close to the water front a a range of new and stunning museums. Easy metro or tram ride of a couple of minutes into the old ciry with all its timeless attractions.”
“The hotel is beautifully decorated with a nostalgic style, once you enter you feel as if you are passing through a time machine and heading back to the 19th century. The room was impeccable, the staff was very friendly, overall a very interesting and pleasent experience. The neighborhood of the hotel is a culturally and historically very rich district of Istanbul, always full of lively people. The breakfast was fine, but there was a slight room for improvement. We wished we could have stayed longer.”
