“An Eastern Hotel with Western standards This hotel as pointed out by many is located in a busy cross road with traffic right round the clock. some times heavy and at other times light. The room was small but was quite inviting. The day was hot and I discovered the air conditioner in the room was ineffective and the air inside the room a bit stale. Opening the glass door over looking the street below was quite effective. The room cooled down albeit with the air hovering over the traffic below. The front office staff was very helpful and they brought in a pedestal fan and the room became comfortable. The food in the dining hall had a buffet meal but I opted for a plate of grilled salmon which was very good. Here again the staff was quite friendly and helpful. Breakfast spread was mix of Chinese and European and was quite enjoyable. The complimentary internet in the room was good”
“Nicely decorated rooms with an authentic European touch to it. Nice views (if you are high enough). Food at the restaurant is good.”
“The bed is a little bit small for two people, it could do with a queen or king bed. They should have staff in the front desk who speak English.”
“Location was very good. Generally the atmosphere of the hotel was very nice.”
“Stylish, the hotel is designed and decorated in an elegant way.”
“Nice hotel with helpful and friendly staff. The room was good and convenient for business trips. Many restaurants around the hotel.”
“The hotel has a very european style, the location is good, in downtown, clean, good wifi”
“L'occitane toiletries.. European Décor.. Old world charm. Value for money. Close to center. Breakfast has good choices as well”
“The bedding and toiletries were good quality. The decor reminded me of Italian hotels.”
“Good location near a lot of restaurants, including a very good Italian place about 1KM away. Was in for one night for business and this seemed like great value, location, and facilities. Staff spoke English, rooms were clean albeit a little small. Good breakfast. Large windows in the room open completely to the street, which is nice to get air, but bad because of the street noise.”
