“We had a very bad experience. Thief's got in our room and stole all our luggage,while we are sleeping.As there was no safe deposit we lost camera,mobil,credit card,glasses,etc. The owner was not at Esperanto lodge and we where the only guests. He told the crew to give us the money back for our stay,that was very kind and they drove us to the ferry. The owner reacted correctly via email,but there is no way to get anything back from the invariance from the hotel.”

“The perfect location between beach, bush and river / mangrove. Walking distance to authentic Senegalese village (no hustlers like in Gambia!) and a very impressive fishermen's beach with hunderds of boats and people at work. Sitting on the quiet terass of the lodge, the experience of the absolute ' out of Africa' -feeling with the astonashing view. Very good 'cuisine francaise', friendly people. Not expensive. Never had the feeling to be unsafe during our stay. When you are on holliday in Gambia easy to reach by taxi. Just do it and you will be satisfied.”

“On se sent tout de suite à l'aise dans ce cadre enchanteur: végétation luxuriante, belle décoration africaine, bungalow très agréable et plage à perte de vue. Merci évidemment à Eric, le patron, qui nous a si bien accueillies, à Clara pour sa gentillesse et à Etienne pour cette chouette balade dans les bolongs et sur les îles. Mes filles (10 et 15 ans) et moi avons adoré. Nous recommandons vivement cet établissement.”
