“Booked last minute and we were booked into the annex Kirkhouse room 8. The blind was broken and the sunlight woke me up at 4am. I reported the need for maintenance to the assistant manager who was keen to help. They were unable to fix the problem as it was a Sunday but were able to offer alternative accommodation in the main house. They gave us the Oval Room which was luxurious. We were delighted.”
