“We really enjoyed out stay at Emporikon! The location is perfect! So central and surrounded by lots of bars / restaurants / coffee shops etc. From the front door of hotel you can see the Acropolis, and everything is within walking distance. There is also a Metro station about 3mins walk away from which you can go directly to the airport (40mins) or the port of Piraeus (25mins) for ferries to islands. Other reviews I read mentioned noise, but I actually thought the room was very well sound proofed, and we were at the front of the hotel over looking the square. Even when it was packed in the evening we couldn't hear a thing. The team on reception were also very helpful with recommending restaurants and booking tours etc.”
“This is an incredible place in the heart of Monastiraki within walking distance to great sights, restaurants, shopping and nightlife of Athens. The Acropolis (15 min), Hadrian's Arch (10 min), Temple of Zeus (12 min), Olympic Stadium (20-25 min), metro station (1.5 min), flea market (2 min) and Plaka (3-4 min). Room is beautiful, stylish, spacious and relaxing. I had the Acropolis view from 401 and it was stunning, framed in 2 huge picture windows. The hotel is small and boutique, the guests are quiet, and there are almost no facilities (lobby, breakfast, lounge) and you don't need them. Downstairs there are 20 restaurants and cafes within 1 min walking in any direction.”
