“A hotel with a unique architecture and an old-time grandeur with a weird, partly Italian pre WWII history. The hotel lies next to a beautiful small orthodox monastery. The hotel is surrounded by magnificent pine and cypress forests and open limestone mountain slopes. There was a good network of trails including that downwards to the nice village Salakos. The service was very friendly, and the breakfasts and dinners were just excellent. Our room was also nice and high with wonderful mountain and sea views from our balcony. Strangely enough, we were the only customers in this romantic hotel. When the occasional herds of tourists crowded to the hotel area during our sumptuous breakfast, it was only kind of fun - it was nice to stay there and not just visit hastily. There were also four very curious (or maybe they were afraid of an owl) and funny domestic pigeons with some exceptional pink and green colors we had seen never before.”

“מקום פסטורלי, מבנה עתיק ששווה ללילה אחד במיקום. מחיר מצויין. האי רודוס פשוט לא מענין למעט לינדוס, העיר העתיקה והעיר החדשה והחוף היפה בדרום האי לכן לילה אחד בשביל החוויה והמלון העתיק זה נחמד מאוד לא בשביל לחרוש את האי שאין מה לראות בו כל-כך. צוות אדיב מאוד, חדרים נקיים למעט אולי זרם מים חלש מאוד אבל זה באמת בשוליים. מלון בן 90 שנה במיקום הגבוה באי עם נוף ושקט ואוויר פסגות מדהים. הגעה אליו לפחות בפעם הראשונה דורשת נסיעה לא קצרה בחורש טבעי מדהים ודרך של כ 10 ק״מ שעדיף להגעה בשעות האור . רודוס כנראה מתאימה לבטן גב והכל כלול ולא לטיולי כוכב אבל המלון שווה מאוד .”
