What guests loved the most

“Perfect location for an overnight stay as we drove south from Santander ferry (10 min off main road). Very friendly welcome (owner's son), fabulous rooms, surprise wine tasting before dinner in the 200-year old cellar and then a really nice dinner. Nice breakfast, very good quality food all-round.”

“We have stayed before and enjoyed being out in the countryside with fabulous views around the hotel, with good hospitality from Mariano with drinks in the bar which is the local hub for the village and in the restaurant next door makes all the difference, we would gladly stay again for a more simplistic stay away from the buzz of towns and cities.”

“Luxurious retreat in the heart of wine country. Great bicycling, fabulous food in the outdoor restaurant. Welcoming hosts gave us a tour of the wine cellar. Unforgettable experience - a real highlight Comfortable beds.. Well worth a visit!”

“Very friendly family run hotel, great rooms, good restaurant and great garden bar area. Will be going back.”

, United Kingdom

“What an unexpected treat to be led down a candle lit stairway to a 100+ year old wine cellar. Then to taste the most beautiful and generous pours of local wine was extraordinary. This family friendly hotel/bed & breakfast is well worth the effort. We had one last night Madrid and this was a perfect end to our holiday only 90 min drive away. Late night followed by a late breakfast and a cruisy drive”
