“Location close to restaurants and shops, good Wifi, very good food at restaurant, excellent staff, good beds, nice hot shower. Excellent place to stay in Medelin.”
“The fruit juices were marvelous. The staff very attentive, service minded.”
“Well-run hotel in excellent location in Medellín. The staff was super-friendly and supportive with any questions or problems I had. The breakfast was a good choice of freshly-made food. The room was equipped with everything a decent 3-4* hotel room even in Europe should have and therefore very comfortable. The hotel is in walking distance to the Metro station and plenty of restaurants & bars without being on a noisy street itself. I can absolutely recommend a stay in the hotel.”
“The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, truly went above and beyond. Especially the bell boy (who spoke English), the gentleman at breakfast brightened our morning with his smiling face - everyone helps you, even carrying your tray to the table, hailing cabs etc. The Breakfast was good, a changing selection of items, bread, fruit, Colombian food, eggs made to your liking. The Hotel is kept sparkling clean. Rooms are fairly basic but very clean and comfortable (amazing for a 3 star) and extremely good value for the cost.”
“Breakfast buffet was very good. Good flavor and portions.”
“Staff was super good!! Specially, Mónica and Walter treat us with excellence and were very caring and attentive. The food in their restaurant was also very good.”
“Excellent facilities, with easy access to taxis. Great staff, always ready to help. Room was well sized. Good location, near places to eat and dance. Loved it!”
“Breakfast is so normal, buffet type but only scrambled eggs, bread and pork. Few fruits and uncomfortable way to serve.”
“Its an excellent property. Its clean. Very friendly & helpful staff. Excellent bed. Normally I don't sleep good on the first night. But here I slept very well every night. Excellent value for your money. Great kitchen; Excellent food! It was a pleasure to eat in the restaurant. They always make you feel at home.”
“After a few nights in El Poblado I wanted to check out a different neighbourhood. Laureles is a district I liked a lot. It's more of a local experience, but it does have a wealth of restaurants and bars. El Porton de San Joaquin was quite conveniently located, just a short walk to many restaurants and some mini-markets. All taxi drivers seemed to know the place. The staff was just wonderful and friendlier than in many high-end places. There isn't much English spoken, but it's one of the best budget places I've stayed in.”
